Data Protection

Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Core Privacy Promise

At FreeSEOTool, we believe that webmaster utilities should not track your identity. We do not require account registration, passwords, or personal credentials. When you audit a website or convert an image, your data is processed live in temporary memory and never stored in a permanent database.

2. Information We Process

  • Public URL Queries: When you input a website URL for SEO auditing, our serverless edge function fetches the publicly accessible HTML source code of that URL to parse meta tags. This public data is discarded immediately after report generation.
  • Browser Local Storage: We use your browser's private localStorage to remember your UI preference (Dark/Light mode) and your own recent audit history. This data never touches our server and can be cleared in one click.
  • Client-Side File Processing: Tools like the Image to WebP converter process your files 100% locally on your own computer using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your pictures are never uploaded to any remote server.

3. Cookies & Advertising Partners

We work with third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense and Adsterra) to fund our free servers. These partners may use standard HTTP cookies and web beacons to serve contextually relevant ads based on prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or AboutAds.info.

4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users have rights to data access and deletion. Because we do not collect, store, or sell personal identifiers (such as names, addresses, or credit card numbers), no personal records exist in our systems to be sold or disclosed.
